About Turuncu Motors
Turuncu Motors was founded in Istanbul in 2011. We rent maintained, insured motorcycles and scooters to visitors and to people who live in the city. Turuncu is the Turkish word for orange, and some English listings show the business as Orange Motorcycle Rental; it is the same company.
The team is led by Kemal Arslan, our head mechanic and one of the founding members. Before every rental the bike goes through a 30-point check covering brakes, tyres, chain, lights, fluid levels and controls.
Everyone on the team rides. When you ask which bike suits the Bosphorus coast road and which one the Belgrad Forest roads, the answer comes from our own riding, not from a brochure.
The fleet
The fleet has 15 models from four brands: Yamaha, Honda, BMW and TVS. They fall into three classes: scooters from 50 to 400 cc for the city, manual bikes of 125 and 250 cc for riders who want gears, and adventure models from 700 to 1250 cc for trips outside the city and multi-day tours.

Delivery
You can collect the motorcycle at the office in Mecidiyeköy or have it brought to your hotel, your address, Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen (SAW). We hand the bike over in person, go through the controls with you and photograph its condition together. The fee for hotel or address delivery depends on the distance; airport handover costs €60 one-way.

Insurance and support
Every rental includes compulsory third-party insurance and a helmet. Comprehensive cover, which protects against damage to or theft of the rented motorcycle, is optional and costs €15 per day. If something goes wrong on the road, we provide 24/7 roadside assistance throughout Turkey.
