The Honda Africa Twin 1000 DCT is one of adventure motorcycling's legendary names: a 1000cc parallel twin, long-travel suspension and the dual-clutch DCT gearbox make it equally at home in Istanbul traffic and on dirt. Full A licence and age 25+ required.
The DCT is this bike's secret weapon: no clutch work in traffic, seamless shifts on the open road. Kilyos's sandy turn-offs, Black Sea village roads and the forest corridor towards İğneada are the Africa Twin's natural habitat.
Third-party insurance and a helmet are included; the adventure-class deposit is €500. Add the optional pannier set and it's ready for multi-day Black Sea tours.

How does the DCT gearbox work — is it hard to adjust to?
There's no clutch lever or shift pedal; the gearbox shifts automatically, with manual +/- override if you want it. It feels like a car automatic — most riders adapt within 10 minutes, and we give a full walkthrough at handover.
Can I take the Africa Twin onto light off-road?
Yes — stabilised village roads and forest tracks are within normal use. Hard enduro terrain and river crossings are excluded from insurance; we'll gladly help plan a suitable route.
