The Yamaha NEOS 4 has a 50cc engine, so it can be ridden on a standard category B car licence; no motorcycle licence is needed. Its top speed is 45 km/h, which suits short city trips, waterfront roads and neighbourhood streets. 50cc vehicles are not allowed on the Bosphorus bridges or motorways, so plan your routes within the city.

At 95 kg it is easy to park, to move around at the kerb and to turn in narrow streets. A helmet fits under the seat. Fuel consumption is the lowest in our fleet.

Compulsory traffic insurance and a helmet are included in the rental; the deposit taken at pickup is €150. Flat routes such as the Moda waterfront, Caddebostan and the Yeşilköy coast road suit this model. The daily distance limit is 150 km.

Can I ride the Yamaha NEOS 4 on a car licence?

Yes. As a 50cc vehicle the NEOS 4 can be ridden on a valid category B (car) licence; no motorcycle licence is needed. If your licence is not written in the Latin alphabet, you must carry an International Driving Permit (IDP) with it.

Can I cross the Bosphorus bridges on the NEOS 4?

No. 50cc vehicles are not allowed on the Bosphorus bridges or motorways. To reach the Asian side you can take the car ferry, which accepts motorcycles.
