About the Yamaha NMAX 125

The NMAX 125 delivers all the style and practicality of the NMAX family in a licence-friendly 125cc package. Perfect for riders with an A1 licence exploring Istanbul's streets and Bosphorus coastline.

The Yamaha NMAX 125 is an economical city scooter with ABS that can be ridden on an A1 licence. Its Blue Core engine keeps fuel consumption low in stop-start traffic. As a 125cc it may use the Bosphorus bridges and ring roads; it is not allowed on motorways.

A jet helmet fits under the seat, and the flat floorboard and relaxed riding position make long days in the city easy. It suits day trips in town, from Taksim to the Bebek waterfront or from Kadıköy to Bağdat Avenue.

Compulsory traffic insurance and a helmet are included in the rental; the deposit taken at pickup is €150. Weekly rentals get 10% off and monthly rentals 20% off. The NMAX 125 is often chosen for long-term rentals.

Which licence do I need for the NMAX 125?

You need an A1 motorcycle licence, which is valid up to 125cc. In Turkey a category B car licence is not sufficient for a 125cc scooter.

Is the NMAX 125 suitable for two people?

Yes, it has a dual seat and passenger footpegs. You can ask for a second helmet for your passenger when you book; it is provided free of charge. Power is sufficient for city riding; on steep hills it is more comfortable ridden solo.

Do you rent the Honda PCX 125?

We do not have the Honda PCX in our fleet. In the same 125cc scooter class you can rent the Yamaha NMAX 125 or the TVS Jupiter 125; both can be ridden on an A1 licence.
